Hey does anyone know of a good open source knowledge base I can run along with drupal ? I have Suse 9.3 and MYSQL 4.1.10

We are having problems with "sending email after user registration".
administer/logs shows the password has been sent to the email address, but the user does not receive the mail.
Do we have a step by step procedure on how its to be done? What changes has to be made to php.ini file?
Also the installation is on a linux server and the php.ini file points to sendmail function.

Recently I've been playing around with different ideas on ways to enhance the usability of Drupal's admin pages. There seems to be a lot of recent discussions on this topic, particularly on the developers list. I was curious about how hard it would be to create a set of admin pages similar to Mamdo's admin pages. Not that I'm a big fan of Mambo's admin but it does have some disctict differences from Drupals, specifically, it's more graphical and it UI is distinct from the rest of the sites pages.

I've posted an article on my digitizationblog about using Drupal for organizing and providing access to digitial library collections. I'd be happy to hear from anyone who has any questions or comments.

i got drupal running on apache , but at the moment i have other stuff running on my IIS so is it possible to run drupal using apache and control the drupal through the IIS. The problem i have got is i couldn't get a clen urls using IIS , no matter i try to use what i found in the forum. so i decided to use apache , i got clean urls , still the issue is that i am running running other stuff on IIS. so if there is a way plz let me know

We have modules for FCKEditor and other editors but not for BXE, the Bitflux editor. BXE seems to be the only Javascript based editor to edit XML and use schemas. Has anyone used BXE? What is it like? Are there any other Javascript XML editors that use schemas?

BXE looks like it should install with a module similar to the FCKeditor module. If some people want to work on a BXE module, I am happy to help. I have not yet worked out how BXE fits in to a page and do not have a working BXE equipped site to practice on.
