Though I shared bedchambers with Drupal for a good many nights, my own gentleman-hood might be questioned if I were to recommend this to even my greatest enemy under any cause other than gunpoint, for it was nothing less than a headache from night #0.
He (I say "he" only because the name NeoNut sounds vaguely masculine; oh - and he does mention his own gentlemanhood, case closed) does go on to offer more concrete criticism:
Is there some reason why the aggregator module doesn't use the taxonomy module to categorize content? I think it would offer greater flexibility and power if the same categorization system could be used for aggregator items as for nodes.
We are having problems with "sending email after user registration".
administer/logs shows the password has been sent to the email address, but the user does not receive the mail.
Do we have a step by step procedure on how its to be done? What changes has to be made to php.ini file?
Also the installation is on a linux server and the php.ini file points to sendmail function.
Recently I've been playing around with different ideas on ways to enhance the usability of Drupal's admin pages. There seems to be a lot of recent discussions on this topic, particularly on the developers list. I was curious about how hard it would be to create a set of admin pages similar to Mamdo's admin pages. Not that I'm a big fan of Mambo's admin but it does have some disctict differences from Drupals, specifically, it's more graphical and it UI is distinct from the rest of the sites pages.
