OK, so I'm feeling a little jealous because I'm seeing other people's questions being answered quickly. I realize that they may have posted easier questions or posted at a better time, or I just might be seeing a fraction of the posts that are going by. Are my questions too specific? Are there no known answers to them? Am I posting them in correctly? Am I titleing them poorly? Even the post geared towards helping documentation for all current and future newbie users of Drupal didn't get answered. What am I doing wrong?

Is Drupal being used to power the Progress Now Action website? The URL is:

I would like to setup grant update to a node :
- to a specific role (easy)
- to a specific user (??).

i have few thousand of users, should i define a role for each user ?

The best way should to define the user id with a grand update privilege when the node is created. How is possible

I have several domains d1.com, d2.com, d3.com etc. Database is unlimited. So I prefer to use "Super Advanced Usage" where each domain will have a different DB.
Now, each of my sites will have different contents but a common user DB. I am confused with the Master Slave issue.
Which site should be selected as Master. What are the disadvantages of keeping others as Slaves?

If DB of d1.com is Master and others are Slaves, and user login to d2.com/d3.com, will user be taken to d1.com/site2(which I do not want)?

How do I make a drop down field for a flexinode content type listing the labels from another content type. I want the drop down list to come from a field of contents of another flexinode content type. Is there any module for this or if anyone can help I would be obliged.

can user/number replace with user/username?
