What are flexinodes ?

Could anyone tell me in short what flexinodes are ? I read that they are 'related nodes' specified in the flexinode module ... But I don't get the concept fully yet ...

What about updating to a higher version number ?

Hi,

I was browing the downloads section and I can't seem to find anything that has to do with updating a current drupal version. Let's say that I would like to update from 4.6 to 4.7 in the future ... How is this done ?

how to assign a certain theme to a certain user role?

Hello drupalers,

I have a drupal installation with several themes on it. Is there any way to assign by default a certain theme to a certain user role (after login, of course ;-))?

The second question is: Could I prevent the authenticated user, irrespective of role (except the admins, of course) to change his theme by himself?

I mean I'd like to use more than one theme but I don't want to let the user to choose among them, I want only the admin to set a certain theme for every user.

Any help is appreciated,
Gigi

I am using the adc theme for my site (now under heavy construction) and would like to give the blocks a translucent effect so that the background image on the page can been seen through the block. Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this...or if it's even possible. Please feel free to see what i mean...http://www.reelorbit.com

How to? html forms to enter data rather than using admin panel

Hi all,

I need to do a community site and have not used Drupal before. The site requires local businesses to be able to post their own business details; summary, contact details, photo etc. Rather than let them use the admin panel, it would be preferable for them to do this by way of a html form like this: http://www.ourwynnummanly.com.au/community/post.chtml

Are there any modules/plugins for Drupal that allow this?
