when i search somthing, drupal doesn't show any thing and shows this message :
* Check if your spelling is correct.
* Remove quotes around phrases to match each word individually: "blue smurf" will match less than blue smurf.
* Consider loosening your query with OR: blue smurf will match less than blue OR smurf.
I was just wondering if switching from a different cms to drupal (or the other way around) has any effect on allready earned SERPS.
I am talking here about for instance a site in wich the information structure is not too different on both CMS'ses. in other words. It's just a system switch, and not a information / or content structure change.
For weeks I was developing a website using the Drupal CMS. I sumarize my experinece on my blog at http://www.tagworld.com/motoras hopping that it may provide some valuable information for drupal coummnity. I would be also curious what other people have to say about my thoughts, (or if there othe rpeople who had the same problems) and I will be very glad if at least few of my issues will be approached in the future.
Looking forward for a better Drupal, and waiting for your comments
Romulus.
I have recommended Drupal on a few occasions to some CSS communities. Recently, one person mentioned that they had a hard time finding the "About" page to find outmore about it.
I realize that it is in the orange box on the home page, but honestly, I didn't see it, right away, either.
I think there should be a way to get to it from other areas of the site to help out those who haven't heard of Drupal before. What do you think about adding an "About" tab to the main navigation? I think it needs to be more prominant and accessible from other areas on the site.
