General discussion

I am taking on a project and I need to decide whether to develop it in Drupal or WordPress. I am slightly familiar with WordPress and not at all with Drupal. I know there will be an initial learning curve but I am most interested in finding the tool that supports my needs in the tightest/built-in way.

I BELEAVE DRUPAL SHOULD ALSO HAVE A QUICKER TEAM as it has a SECURITY TEAM! This team should have only one task - "is this function really necessary?" how it influence the drupal processing time....

PLEASE VOTE WITH ME FOR A DRUPAL QUICKER TEAM! I don't know much about how SECURITY TEAM works but I'm confident we need a DRUPAL QUICKER TEAM!

I have tried googling this and to no avail. I am on the drupal.org site a lot and I have noticed that I get a 103 err (webpage not found) quite often when I am using the drupal.org website. It doesn't seem to be any particular part of the day (totally random times) and it tends to happen in Chrome more often, but will experience it in Firefox once in awhile. I'm very curious to find out if anyone else experienced this issue as well?

Hi all,

I am presently, teaching myself Drupal Gardens...with the intentions of going straight into D7.

I have experience in building webpages using Dream Wev, using coding of HTML, some CSS, and PHP.

The curve to learn DG is arduous...espeically with the speed issue.

Anyone switch from PHP to Drupal?

What's your opinion and thoughts on the Two? (one vs the other).

Should i drop PHP and just go straight for DRUPAL?

I am presently learning DGardens...and am frustrated with the time it takes to upload and make changes to webpages. In some cases...i will sit for 1-2 mins to make a simple change (sigh)

As far as Uploading changes speedwise....Is Drupal 7 the same as DG?

Anybody implemented Chat feature in Drupal 7? [Chatting within the registered users in the site]
Which module is working perfectly? Can anyone suggest?

I tried with drupalchat but I cannot see other online users to chat with. Did I miss any thing ?
