From my orginal simple HTML index and directory system. I want to incorporate a directory with its own index page and the subdirectories with their own html pages into my new drupal site. These are simple text articles with some graphics.
How do I create or import the the index menu for the main subdirectory and all the subdirectories and menus below the main index page? I don't want to have to cut n paste these html/text articles into drupal, its too much work, I just would like the articles to be in the drupal site wrapper.
I have a simple Flash element that I want to show on one page in Drupal. But it would not show up.
I inserted the object/embed code in the right place for that page in page.tpl.php. The Flash element is showing up I guess, because I see that the rest of the page has gone down, and when I use the right mouse button on the place where the Flash element should be, I get in ghost letters "Movie not loaded..." andin normal letters "About Macromedia Flash Player 8..."
I have no idea if this is a drupal bug but i could only assume it is.
My sites RSS feeds are set too title plus teaser (max 10). Everything works perfectly but the images in the teaser seem to be generating an extra part to the url of the image.
I wonder if it is possble to attach files such as excel or word or powerpoint to a post like story or blog? Terribly sorry if it is discusssed elsewere since I could not locate similar questions around here.
I have looked and tried out the video module but it will not fulfill my needs ( I will be able to use it when I suggest/orgarnise vlogging from our members (I will use this approach on blognvlog.com and dreamvlog.com hopefully integrating movlogging (mobile cellphone video logging) )
Its great to see a London faction of the drupal groups and they do indeed hold regular events. However due to work they have to hold them in the evenings, rendering it inaccessible for anyone outside London (unless of course you stay over night).
I wonder if we have enough members here to start a Cardiff or Swansea version of the groups were we could meet up from time to time and discuss all things Drupal.
So if your in the area (so to speak) then shout out and we'll see if the idea has merrit.
