HELP!!!! user permissions & such....

ok, very new to Drupal, it is great, but i am having some trouble with user permissions.

so ive got a few differnt user's:

admin
anonymous user
authenticated user
manager
teacher/faculty

i need the teacher/faculty to be able to create pages, then submit them for approval by the admin or manager.
they also need to be able to edit their authored pages for re-submition.

ive tried a ton of things, just cant seem to get it right i guess...

extra /node/ in URL for acidfree

The URLs to the /example_large.jpg for my acidfree files have an extra /node/ at the beginning. So instead of getting http://www.example.net/files/active/3/335_large.jpg I'm getting
http://www.example.net/node/files/active/3/335_large.jpg

Anyone know why? I'm running the brand new 4.7.0 acidfree, though this problem was occurring before as well. Thanks!

Kevin

total newbie evaluation question

Will Drupal allow your users to create their own blogs underneath your drupal site?

So if I setup a domain like..

www.widget.com

and I have users named tom and jane..
then either I or they can have a dedicated blog site under...

http://tom.widget.com

Thanks..

PS I'm new here and I'm not sure if I will get an auto email response but my email is galacticlove@gmail.com

Displaying user info for poster in footer

I would like to post the user's info who created the page and when it was last updated in the footer of the page. I have created a footer block and placed below for the user info:

$block = module_invoke('profile', 'block', 'view', 0);
print $block['content'];

but I cannot seem to get it to work. Tried many different ways. I have not gotten to the date part yet. Please help a new user out.

Thanks,
Adam

Google Adsense Module problems

I've set up the Google Adsense module, following the help instructions. I created a single line text Profile field called "Google Adsense Client ID" and a form name of "profile_google_adsense_client_id"

This field was added to user 1. I entered my Google adsense ID in the following format: (9's represent numbers)

pub-9999999999999999

BUT, when I go to admin settings adsense, I get an error message saying:
