I am new to programming and therefore I am studying the basics before selecting the direction and go further. I have some concerns, which I like to resolved before go ahead. The biggest issue for me as a designer is the compatibility of the website with all major browsers. My question is that, can I chose drupal to build browser friendly websites? Also, which hosting company is best for drupal? Is there any IRC channel available for drupal?

How can you display site hits in a block in the footer?
I assume that this has to be some function call to the statistic module.

I would like to make a content in the right sidebar, I assume this will have to be a block. I wnat this block to only be shown on a spesific page. The block contains some data that need to be send to the specific page. I assume the best way is to use post to transfer the variables or call some php functions in the spesific page.

hello.. I need to make a welcome message for all visitor of my site, so I made a page and make it sticky. The problem is I don't want the welcome message to display "Submitted by.. on ..." under the page title.

How can I remove it but just for this page only?

Hi! I have created a module to remove certain sections from forms, I've used code from this website and it works (removing username from login). What i want to do is to remove the Group/Audience when one posts a wikipage (liquid module) Here is my code:
