(I just posted this under the book entry, then decided to make it a forum posting as well.)
I've just started working my way through the book and I am already confused. The publishing date says "First Printing: January, 2017" so I would have thought everything would have been verified by then.
1. field_car_brand (reference to taxonomy brand), for example: BMW
2. field_car_model (reference to taxonomy model) for example: 3 series
3. field_car_type (reference to taxonomy type) for example: 325i
What i want is that if the user adds a BMW, only the models from BMW show up.
I found the module "Hierarchical Select" , but then i loose the 3 seperate fields, because everything becomes 1 field.
i am beginner to drupal, i wanted to know is their any module to create for my college for student registration form which includes the following information :
1. Generate admission no.
2. take snap and paste it on application pdf
3. personal information.

I hope this is the right forum but as this is no so technical I think so.
I'm wondering if the Role access is better than the node access. Often you want to give access to content or feature to specific people and then of course it's easy to use the Role access. But in this case you can have a lot of Role type (eg : I have 20 features and want to give one or more features to each people. But all people can have a mix of the features).
