I am a web designer based in Cambridge and I would be interested to hear of peoples’ views of weather they always favour Drupal over Wordpress. I have been using Wordpress quite recently and have to admit that I find it much more approachable than Drupal. I read 'Learn Drupal in 30mins' and I still found it way harder to understand than Wordpress..
I have been trying free themes but they all give broken look when I enable them on my Drupal 7 website. The site has many field collections for user profiles.
Can anyone recommend a professional looking theme suitable for user profile listing websites?
I think the Drupal ecosystem would benefit greatly if it had it's own cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. The coin's main purpose is to reward existing drupal developers and others that contribute to the community. The coin's value is derived from devs or agencies accepting it for support or development. The idea is to create a medium of exchange within our own drupal ecosystem that feeds itself and helps it grow by creating a token of "drupal" value.
Hi, where is the proper place to give feedback about drupal.org? Many of the design and IA changes made over the last year have been poor, from my point of view, and I'm wondering what the process is for making these decisions? Obviously there will be a diversity of opinions, but I'd like to participate in the debate.
I'm looking for a Drupal solution similar to what may be available in other CMS, for registering and booking seminars (keeping track of how many seats/spots are available), and applying payments. I know there was some commerce plug-ins available, but many of the plug-ins were for Drupal Version 7 and I'm looking to start with Version 8.
