Drupal 9 UX phalcon php Feedback wanted

Hello
We are 5 people thinking to as a fork of Drupal 9 with Phalcon. I know its early stage of development. But as We using Drupal since 2009 drupal 6 Drupal is secure stable Enterprise CMS.

Disadvantages of Drupal:
1.Due to its complex interface.
2.High system requirements.
3.Difficulty in the installation of updates.
4.The lack of high quality themes.

Drupal 8 Webform updating data

Hi, I am designing a drupal 8 web portal for amongst other things to get my off site operatives completing webforms on mobile devices to send the data back to central office.

The webform module seems ideal for this. I am from a SQL access background and what I think should be a simple process I am struggling to find an answer on the Drupal site. I have watched many videos on the various aspects of Drupal and cannot find an answer. I would like pointing in the correct direction on updating one form1 values form2

Does anyone have a resource that tells you (in adequate detail) what each function of a module does and when/where to use it?

I've read books, followed online tutorials and signed up to video courses, yet I have not been able to under stand when and where to use functions to create a module.

Eg, looking at someone elses work (in a module that simply allows you to create a list of links) I see there are the functions:

  • hook_ctools_plugin_directory()
  • hook_theme()
  • Render arrays
  • hook_preprocess_theme()
  • hook_field_widget_form_alter()
  • hook_entity_view()

 Accross .module and .inc files.
