Poll: unlimited voting by anonymous users and from the same IP address?

Like the subject says, we would like to allow anybody to vote, as often as they want, and from the same IP. "Infinite voting." I know it sounds crazy, but that's what we want.

I've tried "Poll Enhancements" and it flakes out and stops counting votes. I have tried setting $poll->allowvotes = TRUE; and modifying the core poll when it checks IP, but I get database errors.

Does anybody have a trick for allowing infinite voting?

Thanks!

Tried to upgrade from 6 to 7 and now I have NO SITE

I have no idea what happened. I upgraded from 6.19 to 6.22, no problem. Then I went straight into upgrading to 7.1 - never took the site out of maintenance mode, never re-enabled any modules, kept the theme as Garland.

It seemed like it worked at first, no error messages, and then I clicked through to my admin pages. I got some error about undefined property in Garland for block, and none of the menu links would work. I couldn't get into any admin pages at all, couldn't get out of maintenance mode, nothing. I looked in the forums; nothing useful, or at least nothing I understood to be the same problem as I was having.

So I thought maybe something had gone funky with my database, or my settings. I tried to compare settings.php to my backup... and realized my server had not backed up that file. It had only backed up one of the several items I had intended to back up (note to self: always check that backup includes ALL files). No worries. I know how settings.php works. It seemed fine - right password, all that. I tried restoring the backup of my database.

And now I'm getting... a page of gibberish. I have no idea what this means. My site: http://www.mouthybitch.com

I tried deleting everything and re-installing, but the installer tells me I already have Drupal installed. Can anyone tell me what happened and how I can fix it?

Domain Access 7.x-2.16 - different blocks on domains

Is it possible to specify the domains for the blocks also?

Kind regards

Disable htacces file

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible to disable the function in Drupal that keeps returning the htacces file in the public files directory.
The server automaticly blocks all acces to a directory where it detects a htacces file. Can't turn it off, it asks to use another system (which is ofcourse not known by Drupal).

Thanks

should i change the "Allowed memory size" back to a small value after setting up modules

i got the "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of X bytes exhausted" issue when i enable too many modules. so i changed it like in http://drupal.org/node/76156 does. the question is: should i change it back to default value or a small value like 36M? it seems this error shows up only in the module management.
