Drupal 7.x

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on this one - you know when you search for someting on Google and hover over the result, the area to the right changes into a snapshot of that site... I would like something similar to that on my site.

I have 10 articles in a list. When the user hovers an article, I would like it to display to the right. Is there a smooth module to accomplish something like this? Does Views have a function for it?

When I upload images in an article, the thumbnail and image are broken. Appreciate any help.

I am new to drupal. I installed drupal-7.10 on LAMP Server (OS: Kubuntu 11.10). But I not able install the modules and themes. The update manager is giving me following 2 errors:

1) WARNING: You are not using an encrypted connection, so your password will be sent in plain text.

2) Installation failed! See the log below for more information.

Kindly help me by giving suggestions . . .

I have cahallenge configuring my Drupal Website. I have created a new database, verify and fulfill every other condition.

Moreso, after installing it at www.platiniumglobalventures.com/install.php, I don't know which link I need to use to login into my admin page. Somebody should help me pls.
