Drupal 7.x

I create a new content-type and choose from available Menus (bottom of the page) a default parent item .
But then when I create a new node of this content type it is not automatically assigned to this menu...
Why is this happening?

So in drupal 7 obviously you have the admin menu (which personally I think is great once you get used to it)
I'm curious as to wether I'm able to customise it so it's always there? for all users:

before logged in has:
-Login
-register

once logged in for authenticated users:
has few other option
and admisitrators it stays the same as normal?

or is there something else I could use that does the same thing?

... so... I installed a new module called Date field... it sounds really great but it didn't work for me, because the drop down for selecting a widget is disabled... first I thought the module is broken, so I disabled it and tried to select a widget for other fields... but it's also disabled. I can change the widget on existing fields, but when I try to add a new field, I can't.

Does anyone know, why this happens? Thanks :)

Recently i have bought a drupal template from template monsters. I've installed it just like it was said in the instalation pdf + imported the database, and after i had this error mesage. What does it mean and how can it be fixed? As you can see in the error message below, i am runing drupal on my computer using wamp.

I need to create a form which should not generate nodes. Once i filled the form with the data and submit, it needs to be stored in the database.
