Drupal 7.x

Hi,
I have to develop an intranet on Drupal and i thought that module would be the perfect match for my needs but one of my teacher clearly said that it was a bit messy.

He told me that he tried a while ago on Drupal 4.7. If the module he develop was bugged, his whole site was down. Is it still true in this version ?

Hello,

I just got my drupal site up and running and I am testing the ability to add our company documentation to this type of site.

My boss wants one feature of this site to be able to be a place where we store our "how to doc's". I was thinking I would do this much like this site does the documentation here.

I want to make a group type for every groupfor e.g
New Delhi should come in group type "Geographical"...
I don't know how to do that?
can anyone explain how to do this??

just installed a drupal -commons version 6x 24 -

when i try to upload images i get errors - and after doing some search in the system and the adminstration-controll i fould out: the reported error

> image upload is not possible - in drupal-commons 6x 24.

i have done some research and found out that i have: 755 - in directory sites/default/files

Allthough i haae the permisssions set to 755 -

what can i do here - just lemme know!

I know that my question is basic, but I´ve been trying to find the way
through the posted items and I didn´t reach any conclusion.

The question is how to display the Gmap module as a Block in Drupal 7.

Thanks to the help of the forum I've been able to create a block in views that shows the logged in user's profile information on the left sidebar.

I would like to take it a step further and I am seeking help for the following:

In order to show the profile information for the user who's profile I am viewing what relationship and filter do I need to add in views? Instead of constantly showing the logged-in users profile information I would like it to change the information to a different user when I view their profile?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
