I'm dealing with an older site that is still running Drupal 7.59 with PHP 5.6 and it would need to be upgraded to Drupal 7.99 and work with PHP 8.0 at least. I'm pretty inexperienced with Drupal in general, is it simply a matter of replacing the files in the server with the Drupal 7.99 ones and executing update.php or is there more to it?
I have a Drupal 7 Book that contains video and a TOC made with Views. When I export this to a PDF or E-pub format can I then keep the Views functionality?
It also contains a lot of multimedia for which I am looking for a safe parking after my (not really imminent) death.
I've very little experience with Drupal, so please excuse me if this a seriously dumb question: how can I back out text or structural changes (e.g. to a menu) I've made to a Drupal website?
Consolidation of two existing European open data portals, EU Open Data Portal and European Data Portal into a single unified open-source platform, data.europa.eu
The previous webmaster resigned suddenly and is no longer available to guide me. I've very little experience with Drupal, although I'm an ex-IT bod (long retired) who has done quite a lot in WordPress.
