Search

Hello,

I was wondering is there any way to make the core search to go through all the fields in the node?

On my page it doesn't show everything it should, some nodes are missing even though the keywords are in the body? Also I would need to search the tags, not just title...

I have a news portal and many fields. Basically I need a search to search everything.

Drupal 7/8 bootstrap phase hook?

Hello,

I hope people can help with this and point me in the right direction.

I have a site that wants to support IP based authentication for clients. An external IP db will contain IP ranges connected to corporate user accounts.

I want to be able to auto login a user if the visitor comes from an approved IP Address. The issue I am experiencing is that the cache makes this tricky.

So I am wondering if it is possible to run this auth, if a match is found log the user in all before the bootstrap has decided to show a cached page...?

Number field

I need a field that is actually treated as a number. Something other than integer. I was using integer, but some of our numbers are too large for it and the database apparently can't handle them. I need them treated as a number, as I need to be able to add a prefix, have it add commas, and be able to sort in actual numerical order.

If I use a regular text field, then I don't get a prefix or the ability to have the system add the commas. And when you sort in a view, it looks like this:

1
10
100
1000
...

Not actual numerical order.
