I am using D7 in one of my websites. I am using Cloudflare CDN with this website. I regularly check the Drupal logs, i.e., admin/reports/dblog and mostly found following logs-
Brute force attacks to log in to the website
Random user/register requests
Random page not found requests
I am using Cloudflare CDN which provides a way to define access rules based on IP address or range. The only problem is that I need to manually read the Drupal log and then define access rules after logging in to the Cloudflare account.
If I'm reading project usage stats correctly, there are still 50,179 websites out there with Drupal 6.x as of July 15, 2018. Maybe even more which stopped sending data to drupal.org after 'update_status' became useless two years ago. That's quite a lot, and it seems puzzling because D6 is EOL since February 24th 2016.
Metrin specializes in the production and sale of high-end skin care products. Metrin sells to both affiliates (franchisees), who resell the products, as well as direct to consumer.
Initially, Metrin did not have a public-facing shop. They were in the process of having a website built on Drupal 7 when the agency undertaking the build closed its doors, leaving Metrin with a half-built site. After losing the agency, Metrin set out to find a new agency who could take on the existing build, finish it and successfully launch the new website.
I'm not a developper, but I'm creating a site with numerous contents (over 10 000 nodes). Obviously I would like to include a search engine however, the core Drupal search module index makes the database more than twice larger. My problem is that I'm limited with 1GB databases.
