I'm running Drupal 7 with Ubercart in order to sell Mp3 downloads.

I have a valid SSL certificate on my hosting however, my site doesn't seem to be supporting SSL. I am told by my hosting provider I need to force redirecting to HTTPS via .htaccess.

I've attempted to change the code in my main .htaccess file under /public_html but no change so far.

I'm also told the following code would work in this .access file but I am struggling to see where to put the code or which code to replace? Any help would be appreciated.

Our site, which was working well for about a year, suddenly shut down this morning in an odd way. I would liek to ask your help in figuring out why and what I can do about it.

I am moving my Drupal 7 site from one server (Hostgator) to another (SiteGround). I have all the files and database set up, and the site appears to run fine, but every once in a while, it crashes, and I need to reinstall the database.

After a few hours of investigating, I realized it's because the site (when it appears to work) is reading off the cache. When the cache expires, or I clear the cache, or change 'cache_pages' in the database, the site gives me this error: "Error The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
