Drupal Update - Failed to get available update data

I receive a very vague error "Failed to get available update data" when I try check for updates via admin/reports/updates/update .

According to my status report, both "Drupal core update status" and "Module and theme update status" have the same error.

I have no idea how to solve this, since the error is this vague.

Language settings issues

Hi,

I am new to drupal but have been building sites for 20 years.

I am migrating a site over for a friend and it is in German and English.

I will be just using this site with English only.  When I went into the language settings

and turned off the German Language and swapped the default to English I cannot get to the admin dashboard

anymore or any area in the admin.  I can see and click on the admin menu in the top left corner but when I click on anything it defaults back to the homepage of the

outer website.

SPLC Home Page

The Southern Poverty Law Center fights hatred and bigotry, seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society.

Their aging website platform, organized around content types and organizational departments, faced another challenge: surviving the multitude of crippling cyber attacks perpetrated by the hundreds of hate groups that the SPLC fights.
In redesigning their website, we helped them better tell their story through digital journalism and data visualization. We also solidified their platform and implemented measures to keep the site secure.

COD schedule redirect issue

I may have posted in the wrong space looking for help.  I thought I should post in the issues area for the module (cod_support), which I did and it's showing as "spam detected" in my post.

https://www.drupal.org/project/cod_support/issues/3023792

Anyhow, the problem I'm having is that the COD_support schedule redirect is not working properly.  All other aspects of COD_support seem OK.

How to add meta tag support for apache solr?

We want to show summary from meta tag description. Apache should fetch whole page and key word should be searched in whole content of page as well meta tags. The search summary should be created from meta description, if meta description is not added it should show default content summary.

Is there any way to achieve this with apache solr?
