A client has a Drupal site that is still running version 7.64. A php upgrade has introduced some incompatibilities. Is it necessary/recommended to update each minor version up to the current, or is it possible to update directly to 7.94 (as of this writing)?
I haven't used Drupal for a few years, now when I am back to my old site there is a problem I can't remember how to solve it.
I have created a custom theme and a template 'page--pagename.tpl.php'. It does not seem to pick the page with the name 'root/pagename'. It, however, picks and designs non-existing page if I go to root/pagename. I, of course, cleaned caches. I use local version on xampp.

What this message exactly means, when we edit page of a multilingual site :
"Fields that are used in all languages are hidden to prevent conflicting changes. The hidden fields are editable in the original version of the content."
Hello, I've noticed that the watchdog table in a D7 db is over a million. The db itself is now over 700 mb even though the site has very little content or use.
I tried to clear logs here admin/reports/dblog but I was denied access even though I'm first user.
