How do I log in if I can not get the login prompt page to come up as it should?
I am having a different problem with my site that I have already created a forum topic here on. But part of that other issue was the fact that it has been a challenge to get to the admin panel (for some reason, I could only access the admin panel on an Opera browser -- I am not trying to promote any browser, by the way).
I have a challenge for you. To describe what is going on, I think it is best to start at the beginning since the information on how I came to this point will be helpful in solving this bug.
The web site I have been using for the past few years has been the first Drupal web site I have ever had. I have been using version 7. I found a theme that I liked and I installed that theme. I got a lot of added components and one of them was a kind of tree structure that would show various related pages on the site. It was called "Navigation".
In a custom module I am testing the difference between an ajax call triggered by clicking a checkbox versus clicking a "button" type button (as opposed to "submit" button) and I see differences in the rendered form using these two form elements as triggers. Could somebody point me to an information about what are the differences between these two methods of triggering ajax call?
Not sure of the best way to do this. But we are potentially assisting some local schools and I'm not sure of the best way to secure the data so schools cannot see other schools. For each user account there will be a node reference to select which school they are in and also a presentation for them to view using H5P, this will also have the same node reference for school to view. Once the presentation has been viewed, users are asked to complete a webform. I have been asked if a member of each school can then see who has completed the presentation and who hasn't.
I understand that the compressed files in /default/files/css & /js are created and needed when selecting compression in Performance. What I don't know and curious about is are they ever automatically removed, updated or written over? Do I (admins) ever need to clear it out. Do any, at some point, stop being utilized?
