Drupal 7.x

Using the pathauto and token module in Drupal 6 allowed you to create url aliases using a pattern like so: [termpath-raw]/[title-raw].

However, this is not the case in Drupal 7. I understand that D7 is still in alpha, but the beta looks to be here pretty soon and it is soooo much nicer that D6 IMO.

Is this functionality not available yet?

Using Page theme, it asked for a path to the content type i.e. Page, Page Type 2 etc... I have been all over the place for a couple of days trying to figure out what path to feed it for the content type, without any luck.
I assume it would look like nodes/page_type_2, but that didn't work.
Any help would be fantastical.

I'm getting a lot of spam - posts, comments and in profiles, and I wondered if there was a simple way of preventing it getting online. Is there a module that does any of the following?

1. Send first X number of comments from a new user into moderation queue.

2. Block new users from posting a new blog entry until they have posted X number of approved comments.

3. Block new users from editing profile fields not required at time of registration until they have posted X number of approved comments.

Hi. I feel it's troublesome to use Drupal 6, so I have just installed Drupal 7.
When I click HOME, it said Page Not Found.
Anyone can tell me how to fix this easily please?

I would like to build a website which would be kinda portal. it would have blogs, social networking, events, classifieds, business directory, groups, photos, videos, music..........ahh a lots of things.

could you'll please suggest me in how to go ahead with building a website with Drupal with all the above content. it would be of great help if you could let me know the modules which i need to install inorder to achieve the above and also suggest some themes which would suit my website.
