Drupal 7.x

How do I add LDAP authentication to Drupal 7? That is a requirement for us to use Drupal 7 as an enterprise-class CMS in our organization. We need our Drupal 7 website to authentication against an external LDAP server when users log in so that we don't have to maintain passwords separately in Drupal. Please advise. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Just installed the FCKEditor to my website. My shared hosting account is utilize with Helm Control Panel. I am able to upload an image via FCKEditor into my folder. But i am unable to download that image via Filezilla and the error message is 550 Access is denied. May i know the problem is due to my Drupal configuration or my shared hosting server? How to resolve it?

I'm working on my first site, I manually installed Drupal 7, then I decided I wanted to try something else, so I went about deleting all the files/folders and the database.

However, the Drupal favicon is still showing in the browser window, and the server still says that about 12MB is being used somewhere. The server was basically empty before the install. It should only be showing around 2-3MB. I checked where the memory was being used and it's listed as being in "Other".

I could really use some help here. I'm stumped.

Hello! i have several groups of sites that will be in a network. example
hatlady.com, whitehat.com, bluehat.com, greenhat.com etc.
i have decided maybe they will be best as separate sites. with drupal 7 being released, i think it would be nice to start putting as many of my sites in 7. However, I want to use modules like "Single sign on" to use on my sites. i dont use facebook or twitter for that, although i will post that option. i primarily want them to create, use an identity relating to my sites. Does anyone know a way to create that?

OK I am sort of Old School : I don't jump into new technology bandwagons unless I know where they are headed first. Heck, I don't even get on a bus before I know where it is going. I am that smart :). Sometimes I think I should still feel good in heavily buckled platform boots, Oxford bags and slim-fit flowered shirt with huge Superfly collars. But you never know, these days walking down the street that way you may easily start a new fashion; and I don't want to be part of that because you never know where it may be headed.

Anyway let's get down to business. When Drupal 7 was in development, I didn't think of giving it a twirl primarily because I was suspicious of this thingy and primarily because you never know how these development type guys think and you don’t want to be prematurely prejudiced. And in any case none of my projects demanded it yet. But now since the cat (hey, sounds Old School ) was let out of the bag a few days ago , ordinarily reasonable clients suddenly begin to want Drupal 7. So I got myself a download and set off to work on the new craze du jour.
