Drupal 7.x

I have a content type of "member" of those who are members of the site with the following fields: title, name, picture, officer, position,and rank. In drupal 6, i had it set up with Tokens and Auto node title so that the [field_member_name-raw] would automatically be filled in for the title of the node; however, i'm trying to recreate this effect in drupal 7 and i can't find any of the content specific fields ( name, picture, etc... ) to use for title generation. I feel like I am just looking in the wrong place but I've gone through the entire token tree.

I have created a view to list pics for this page, using default image upload with nodes (D7)

I have used Grid style, which uses tables.

as you can see i have successfully set up the views list of pics, but i cannot see where i can set the link to open in a new window (the link is set to link to image, not node)

can anyone advise how this might be accomplished?

Im completely new to drupal , just installed the standard version and began toying around with it.
The question ishow to automatically add a menu link for new articles?

For Example my 1st article is called "Hello World". When i publish this i want drupal to create a link in the mainmenu called "Hello World".

I used the search function and installed some of the proposed modules but its a bit overwhelming for a beginner. "Path_Auto" is working tho...

I have a problem with the Wysiwyg module and CkEditor 3.5 for D7. When I edit the text with this editor, the editor applies the format to the text, but in my page the text appears without any format. For example, if I try to apply a color to some words of my text, the text is shown on my page with the default theme color.

I think the problem might be the configuration of the text filters, but I don't know how I can configure it correctly. What is wrong?? Anyone knows how I solve my problem??

I am developing a module that automatically assigns a number to a field when they are assigned a certain role. The field was created and attached to the user using the Manage Fields menu.

Everything works, the correct value is inserted into the correct field's table in the database and associated with the correct user. However when I go to edit that user again, the field does not have a value in it, and when I display the users in a View, I sort by this field. The user is shown in the correct spot in the view based on their new number, but the field value is not printed.

I am very confused about how projects run in Drupal as I begin my first Drupal project.

Let me say up front that I am not looking for support, but I think my specific issue will help me clearly get my question across.

I am building a community site and I very interested in the "User Relationships" project. My problem is that it relies on a large number of other projects to support it. I have it 95% activated, but then I get down to "UR-Invite", the part that actually makes the whole project function, and it requires a module called "Invite".
