Mimic MyLittleForum Script in Drupal

I currently operate and maintain a forum using the MyLittleForum script (http://mylittleforum.net). My users absolutely adore the site layout and functionality. But I want to expand into other features using Drupal and am limited with MyLittleForum. Plus, there are some improvements I'd like to make to the forum that would take some custom programming and I can't find anyone to do that with MyLittleForum.

I'd like to find out what it would take in terms of time and price to make a forum in Drupal with the same (or better) feature set as MyLittleForum. Once the module is built, I'm pretty sure I could tweak it the way I want it. Then I would be able to incorporate other Drupal modules and plugins into my site as well. In addition, I need to somehow bring my existing users over into the Drupal database. MyLittleForum uses one-way encryption (salted hash), so I'm not sure how this would need to be done.

As an alternate idea, I would entertain the idea of building a bridge between MyLittleForum and Drupal, although this is not my preferred path. But if the custom forum module pricing is too prohibitive, it may be the only way I can get something going in a reasonable amount of time (until I have the funding to pursue a full module). As I said, however, I want to avoid this alternate idea, if possible.

Anyway, I see a few possible ways this could be achieved:

Is Drupal right choice for Domain & hosting reseller

Hi,
I run a small Domain & webhosting reseller business. recently, my upstream Provider has start giving a HTTP based API. so I was thinking to make a site using that REST API. the end result that I am expecting is similar to http://www.beta.namecheap.com/ or http://domai.nr/ which means lot of use of AJAX.

the site would have have

Panels Output

I am using the panels module and am wondering; Is there a way to reduce the number of divs that are generated? It is absolutely ridiculous how many nested divs I'm seeing. I think there are 10 nested divs before it outputs any content. It just seems incredibly unnecessary. Can I change this output somehow?

Can't add "Block" display to view in Drupal 7

Can't add "Block" display to view in Drupal 7. The default display for my test view works just fine. Then I add a "Page" display that inherits from the default, and that works just fine, and I'm able to view that page version at the path I configured for it. But I can't add a "Block" display for the view. It seems to let me, an I can configure it and save it, but it never works. It won't even preview. Please help! I'm desperate to get this prototype working so that Drupal will be approved for our CMS project. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

How to insert javascript code in a Basic Page

Hi!

I need to insert some javascript code into a basic page (Drupal 7), for example for show/hide some divs with jquery. Where i have to add the code?

Can "Add New Comment" section be expanded/collapsed

In Drupal 7, the "Add New Comment" section seems to be fully visible all the time, which I feel is too distracting for people simply reading the main content. Is there any way to collapse this section by default or turn it into a link which expands when clicked (like in Drupal 6)?

Thanks.
