I have installed recommended release date 7.x-1.0-alpha2 of Date field module,
but I've noticed that entered dates into created date fields are not saved,
it has empty value and dose not save users fills.
So, I thought to install the development release instead, I disabled all modules of date and time to uninstall the Date field, then when I switch to UNINTSALL tab, it says
Hello-
I just installed Drupal 7.0, first time with Drupal, and have been looking through all the admin pages. They take a few seconds to load, which doesn't seem right for a new install. (I also have empty new installs of WordPress and Joomla that aren't so slow.)
I'm using HostGator, which at this time doesn't have PHP > 2.5 by default. I can use PHP 3.3, though; however I don't know if this non-default use slows things down (the WP & Joomla installs use their standard PHP version).
Something I have noticed is during building my site is each time I add an item to the secondary menu, if I then go back and edit the node page it removes it from my menu and I have to rebuild the menu.
