Drupal 7.x

Visitors (also anonymous visitors) can add a session proposal.
One of the fields they fill in is their e-mailadres.

After they submitted their content (with content-type: Session proposal) I would like to send them an e-mail to the e-mailadres they submitted. In the e-mail they get an overview of all the data they submitted.

Is this possible in any kind of way?

so i've been working on a site for quite some while, and now that i've just about finished I need to do one final thing. Add a subscription fee to use the site.

After some googling around, i've heard of ubercart, zencart, e-commerce and a few other modules. I played around with ubercart for a little, but found that using drupal7 was giving it errors.

I've just installed D7 as a fresh install. I've added a picture to the admin account. This is not displayed. The picture has been uploaded in sites/default/files/pictures/ but the HTML shows the image tag referencing it in sites/default/styles/medium/pictures/. This latter directory does not exist; sites/default/styles is empty.

Something's not quite right. Any ideas?
