So, how can I get started using jQuery in Drupal 7? Could you provide a simple example?

I have used Drupal for a while. Have had a little luck with the help of "Using Drupal".

My present installation (D7) is failing to show the entire URL. I can't locate a similar problem when I search the Drupal site.

I am redirecting to my site from go daddy with masking. I tried changing to redirect (different .com address) without masking. no luck.

I need to set my front page and cannot figure out the node.

If you haven't guessed, I am a newby.

I want to create a content type called "books."

In it, I want users to be able to select a person from a list (using List (Text)) and then add the page numbers (using text field), showing the pages in the book that are about the person.

Then I would like that they could add an unlimited number of items on the list and have a text field will be added with each item selected (so that the item and the text field are related within a content type).

Does anyone know how I might be able to create this effect?

I am revamping an old drupal 6 based site for a monthly remix competition.

The way the previous site was structured was quite simple, and implemented the comment upload module.

A node would contain info about the remix with attachments of both wav and mp3 versions of the source audio to be remixed.

Registered users would then attach their submissions as mp3s to the comments.

This was not the prettiest way to structure it, and did not allow much flexibility with ways to display the content, but it it was easy and functional enough.

I am facing an issue in apache solr -

Whenever i set Number of items to index per cron run to 200 or 50 or even 5 in solr settings, cron fails. don't know why this issue is coming. Strangely when set 1 item to index per cron run. Cron runs successfully. I have completed all the functionality now because of this issue i am facing so much problem to index my data it takes a hell lot of time. Please help if anyone has some idea on it.
