Hi, During the installation drupal asks me for a "Site e-mail address" and a "maintenance e-mail address". I'm installing drupal on my local machine and it will not be serving pages out onto the internet. I cant figure out what to put for the email addresses. On the first attempt, for the lack of any better ideas, I stuck in my Yahoo email address. But when tested drupal couldn't send out an email. Is there some kind of special 'localhost' email address that Drupal will be able to use? I'm using Windows 7, with XAMPP and Drupal 7.

Ik tried to copy my new made drupal site which is made with Drupal 7 in windows 7 with the Aquia Drupal stack. I found on the internet a howto to move the complete site, however when I do all those things and try to reach the site I get the install mode of the website I copied.

The website is currently live on another hosting server, so I am using the shared IP address on the new hosting server (blue Host) I used Simple Scripts to upload Drupal to a directory (2011website) I can get to the login by using the ip address/~practim5/2011website/?q?min but then it shows a 404 file not found and the address bar has http://66.147.244.224/~practim5/~practim5.

i am newbie here and need a tip or idea from the forum.
hat anymore a tip for me how i can use drupal with two dynamic content area? The two dynamic area should keep up to date from editor and pro page different.

i have try it with panel, but the areas are not at same place (one top, one right).

i don't know how i can make the two dynamic content area with "view". any idea?
