splash page

Hi everyone

I'm newish to Dx and so here is the obligatory grip I%$%%^U%^&(&%*^&$^^%^%#$^

ok I ripping my hair out trying to get a splash page up and running I've tried front_page but I think they have a different interpretation as to what a splash page is as it totally overrides the home page.

Done anyone know how to get a splash page running without overriding the homepage and only displaying once.

help would be appreciated.

thanks

How to make 'domainname.com' work, instead of 'domainname.com/home' ?

Hi guys,
I've just set up a fresh install of Drupal 7. However if I go to my main page, foodweb.org.nz, it just comes up with the super basic /index folder, from where I need to click on 'home' to get to my actual site. So at present the URL of my actual functional site is foodweb.org.nz/home . How do I make it that going to foodweb.org.nz will take the user direct to my site?

How to move Login Toboggan logged in block to right side of header.

I am trying to move the Login Toboggan logged in block to the right side of my header menu. I have a header menu region and right now it shows up on the left above my main menu. I would like it to appear in-line to the right of my main menu. Pretty new to all this and I haven't been able to locate where or how to change this. I am using Corolla as my theme.

page.tpl.php expanded menu

Hi all,

Had a little look around but haven't found an answer...

Is there a way to print a fully expanded menu in page.tpl.php i.e. it will display all the children of a parent menu item?

D6 btw.

Thanks,

Steve

Gallery with Drupal 7?

Is there a way to make a gallery like feature similar to Flickr? Where users can upload their pictures and it will be easily viewable by others?
