Drupal 7.x

So I have D7 installed on a new website, I have used D6 before to create Galleries using Image, Image Gallery, Imagecache, etc but none of that is available for D7, can anyone tell me how to create very user friendly Gallery for D7, I installed View Slideshow for D7 and watched some screencasts how to set that up but how do I do Galleries (and sub-galleries) with this.

I have an "event" content type with the Datetime field, and I want to create a view that filters all published events by the Datetime field (so that only future events are displayed), but the Views UI won't let me do this.

I am needing a way for my custom module to perform certain tasks upon a user role change. So I've been trying to use the following api hooks:

hook_user_role_insert
hook_user_update
hook_user_role_delete

Currently I have Pathauto installed and my default URL aliases set like so:

[node:menu-link:parent:title]/[node:title]

So, for a page Lorem Ipsum and subpages Alpha and Beta, it creates the URLs like so:

Requesting to port existing magento site to d7 / uc. Customer information and history retention is crucial.

Looking to upgrade site from 6 to 7. If not an upgrade then a migration to another location on same server utilizing different db. Possibly need custom module(s) with ubercart.
Theming – Theme to properly utilize ubercart, maintaining flow. Would like it to take full advantage of ubercart features and values where it needs to be inviting giving a level of personalization. The site is currently a wholesale product driven providing enough information to anon users without giving unnecessary information to say competitors.
Registration would have to complement the request to weed out where it can be approved by certain individuals and not just the administrator.
Price group – Display user price and freight based on user attributes, similar to price per role. Contained as a user attribute read only by the user but editable by certain individuals and admin. Ie sales and support roles (internal user setup accounts)
Freight zone – determined by shipping location where it is ready only by the user and editable by internal staff (like price group)
Category item details – data grid exportable to pdf showing set columns to registered users (columns such as sku, upc, name, desc, dimensions, volume, and weight.
Product – needs touchup where product kits are not properly displaying each product inside (upg to 7 and theme will probably fix this.)
