I have added a date field to the users table for when their subscription expires. I want it to be visible to all users, but only editable by administrators.
Any Ideas of how to do this?
Thanks
Kurt
I notice in this site's forum, you can "reply" to a topic, but in my newly installed one, I can only reply by "adding a comment".
How can I reply to a forum topic normally, under the "reply" name, as you would expect in a forum?
As it is, the "add comment" setup means that forum "replies" are listed under "Recent Comments" on the front page, which is a bit annoying, as this should be for comments to actual content, right?
Newbie here and have a question about searching. I have a site that provides information for a select audience however they are not always familiar with the exact terminology or buzzwords/keywords they should be searching on.
Is it possible to provide a list of terms that the user can select from and then this term would be searched on exactly as if you typed it into the search box.
This is different than tags/taxonomy which will be provided over time as the site matures.
