Dupal 7 & phpbb question

Hi, I'm working on building a community section of my website and need a forum. phpbb has been at the top of my list for forum software, but as I'll be using Drupal for user blogs and site articles it would be great to use the Drupal forums. However, after looking around the web for information on how the two compare I can not decide which would be best.

The fact that using Drupal form (and Advanced forum) would mean a forum integreated into my community site is a plus. But one post I read expressed concern about the load times of the forum. I want to plan ahead and ensure I have the right forum software if I get a lot of users and posts. Can Drupal handle this?

Also, there's an article on the web saying that Drupal forums behave more like blog posts with comments rather than a true forum structure, and I've read comments that phpbb forum moderation is superior to Drupals.

I've thought about a phpbb bridge, which would be great so that users don't have to log to the forum and again to the community site, but I haven't seen one that's for Drupal 7 - the modules I've found are for Drupal 6.

Getting the Multiple File Upload working for the Media Gallery module

Move Fields Into Vertical Tab Section

I'm writing a simple and basic version of the Nodewords module in D7. What I have in mind is to have some of the fields be moved to the Vertical Tab section such as what I have specified here: http://imgur.com/pUGOZ.png I just don't know if I have to use a hook in doing that. If yes, which hook? But I have also seen somewhere in the documentation on creating fieldsets in the Vertical Tabs. I just don't know if that's what I'm looking for.. Hoping for Seniors to help me here. Thanks.

Applying a Theme to a Specific Page

Drupvilians,

Hi, I'm having some trouble with something that seems basic. I'd like to have the right sidebar appear on some pages and not on others so I will have more space for content. I thought it would be easy to create a separate theme and switch the sidebar off in that theme and apply it to the pages (mostly profile pages) that I didn't want the sidebar on.
