Drupal 7.x

Hi y'all.

To my site, users will be uploading images along with content. Since the files can be either images or other files, I'm using a File field and not an Image field. However, I want images to be displayed as images, and not as Generic files. I judge that a tiny module defining a new display format is the best solution for this.

I am used to Drupal and have done a bit of theming, but I have never created a module. So I would be really thankful for some hints on how to get started on this.

looked interesting but there isn’t a port to D7 – when Questions could be easily added by end users

Im going to need a survey where 50 questions need to be answered – Ive look at Webforms and Survey modules which are too general for what I need to do and I need more control on how the data is created and outputted

My installation was successful, but with errors in the Administer section see errors

It should be noted that I am trying to install Drupal directly on my website at Danish hosted Web10.

The installation run fine through to the point. 7

The installation fails, apparently missing some folder, it is something to be created manually

or there is a folder to have write access

I am new in drupal. I have an HTML design and I want to implement it into drupal by craeting a new theme.
Can anyone help me out? I just want to learn theme customization and integration by following an HTML template.

Just wondering, what is the best solution for opening a View or Node in an iFrame?

I've created a jCarousel in Views, with image, title and description, and this is being shown through a Panel, filtered with Taxonomy Term id arguments.

I'm using Colorbox at the moment, but would really like to show more fields when Colorbox opens the image - not just the title.

What's the best option? Can this be done without ploughing through the code? (I'm pretty clueless with JS).

I have just installed drupal 7.2
apache and php were built from source and MySQL is ubuntu 10.04 binary Server version: 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.10 (Ubuntu)
I get many of these warnings:- when loading the drupal page and more when logging in:-
Warning: in drupal_validate_utf8() (line 1387 of /usr/local/httpd-2.2.17/htdocs/drupal/includes/bootstrap.inc).
Warning: in drupal_clean_css_identifier() (line 3642 of /usr/local/httpd-2.2.17/htdocs/drupal/includes/common.inc).

If this is a known issue please point me to the cure.
