I am trying to accomplish the following using panels and views.
The versions I am using are Drupal 7.2, panels 3.0, views 3.x, also organic groups 1.0 - but my question is mainly related to panels and views.
Hi,
I’m building my first Drupal site. To be honest, it’s going to be my first website ever. I’m still learning and started reading the book Beginning Drupal 7. I have been learning for three months now and this will be my first post here.
What is the best/easiest way to display a block with recent news (title, date and body), without using the Views module? The reason I am asking is because we are using Drupal 7 (with our own custom theme and modules) and Views 3 is still beta.
Hey guys, for the sake of simplicity, i have created an excel sheet for a specific content type consisting of Title, Description, and image. I have bucket loads of it hence the need to use import. I know that for D7 i can use feeds however, it does not import the images. Realistically, what i have done is serialize the images and uploaded it to the server. However i need to find a way to mention in the excel file the relative paths, so that when it is imported, the image field is automatically mapped to its respective image. Any ideas?
I have a HUGE collection of photography slides and I wanted to create an online database to house their info and images. This would be a private database, just for my use. I could build it in MS Access or Filemaker Pro or the likes, but I'd prefer to have it online so I can check it from anywhere.
I am searching for an appropriate module to install in Drupal. I looked at Webform, and while it allows you to create custom forms, the lack of search or custom display options for the records makes it unsuitable.
I know there is an option for content type to be multilanguage and choose language while submitting new content, but this can't be exposed to the user. Instead, I would like to force the new content to always be language neutral, no matter what the site default language is, what the current language is on the path, what's the user language and whatever other settings might be there in Drupal.
