Drupal 7.x

I'm having problems deleting pictures. When trying to delete a picture from my galleries I get the error: The file _MG_4283.jpg is in use and cannot be deleted. How can I solve this?

I'm using db_update(), and i wanna check if this function has updated any rows.

I used to do that in D6 using db_affected_rows(), is there anyway to do the same in D7?!

Hello Drupalers!

I have been using Drupal for a few projects before, but I was wondering whether Drupal is the best choice for my next project.
I need to create a community website, based on a virtual trading game. This means I want to allow my members to participate in an online trading game of stocks.

Do you think Drupal is the right framework for this one? Or should I go for something like Ruby on Rails?

This morning, after coming back from two weeks hollydays, I can not access the website I am working on at the moment, I checked on ftp, no changes on the files since my departure, when trying to access the website : www.sinaiblues.com/dev I do not get any error messages, but the page does not appear and the browser just shows the loading bar (IE) and nothing in firefox.

Any ideas?
