how to change a link on frontpage (like user/login, user/register, account) to a picture?

Anyone?
I want to place a picture instead "account" on frontpage...
Should I change in my theme files? Or in account (node, for example) module function?

New To Drupal Please Advice Me

Hi I am new to Drupal, so please bear with me for this long post. I am in the process of creating my first website for a client who happens to be a very close friend so I have some lee way and I am getting payed for the job once its complete

So I am wanting to get this right from the get go. I am thinking of using danland as my theme, there's a few things I need the theme and or modules to do that the client has requested

1) a border or something very similar with bullet points in relation the key skills that this client can offer others.

2) a form that shall that shall allow potential people who wish with or for this client to fill out a employment opportunity form with headings such as name, email, previous work experience etc etc...Also with this form the ability to attach a resume and cover letter

3) The ability to in the future allow employees to log on to the site to retrieve a PDF file or Word doc to say print of 10 copies

Is danland my best option for a theme?

The process that I have done so far is get the clients website registered, set up a hosting arrangement and installed Drupal 7.0 via Cpanel, I have also got the content in what the client wants on the site.

I am willing to do what it takes to learn drupal and to move forward with it, to this affect I have joined lullabot.com and lynda.com to help this process.

Just wondering if it's somehow possible to validate a user field against another, without autocomplete.

Organise related story in a section

Dear Friends,
I just started with Drupal.
We are building a website for our library.
Following is our requirement in the website.

We need an event section in our website.
All stories announcing new events should categorized under "Event" section.
I created a menu item for "Event".
I would like to know, how to categorize all or new event stories under "Event" section ?
When a website visitor click on Event from menu, he can see latest and past events in Event section.

100% header and footer

Hello,

I am using Drupal sub-theme zen and I have been trying to get my header and footer to fill 100% width of the browser. I tried going into layout-fixed.css and adding width:100% to #header and .region-footer however it does not work. What else am I missing? I am new to building website, thanks for the help.
