I've installed Drupal, created a fairly basic theme and populated the site with some content. I'm now try to get to grips with the various modules for controlling layout. I'm wanting to mainly use Panels and Views to control the layout of my site, with a main "Panels" based page as the "Home" page consisting of a number of Panes linking back to a small number of Views based pages that make up the real guts of the site.
Dear all,
after my computer crashed I moved my drupal site to a different one.
I copied all the files and imported the mysql database.
The site was in maintenance mode when I made the backup,
and I'd like to login by accessing localhost/user
The page appears and I can insert my username and password
but after I click on the login button
it seems like the browser is loading something but then the user page is reloaded..
So I can't access my drupal site any more.
I know it must be exhausting and people might get tired seeing this and similar questions, but I just don't manage to solve the issue myself. Whenever I move a page from local to server all my links within nodes and pictures break. All these links had been generated using some kind of editor (like Tiny, FCK).
Basically I know that it has something to do with the "file system"-settings, the "BaseUrl" in the config and maybe even with one of the "htaccess"-files.
Recenltry I've taken a VPS with bythost with kloxo panel. I am trying to follow this instructions http://drupal.org/node/1011872 I extrated the files into the server and when I try to run the install.php I get this error:
