Drupal 7.x

i'm using the 'CCK Private Fields' module in my site, and i wanna upgrade to D7. this module is not ported to D7, is there an alternative for this module?

This morning my Drupal site was displaying a load of function deprecated warnings (i.e. Function ereg() is deprecated in...). I thought updating from V6 to V7.9 would solve this problem but unfortunately it seems to have made it worse. Now when I try to go to any of my website pages, it automatically defaults to the install.php with the following error:

I'm looking for a module where the user can add news. This news will be posted for a short time on his front page.
It's not a newsletter, just a small message like "Where in holidays from X til X" and after the second date the message should be no longer shown on the site.

Is there such a module?

Hello all,

I am looking for a module project to work on that many sites can use.

I have been working with Drupal since 2005 and know how to code modules, customize and design themes as well as many other tricks with Drupal. Most of my work with modules and themes have been for s pecific company and only work well for them. I have not released any modules that would be usable by the public.

I have been on several job over the last year and they pretty much all are looking for modules I have contributed [to] that are released publicly.

I've changed the CSS of everything else inside the widget, including the submit button, but I can't figure this one out for the life of me.
