The page for one of my projects does not show the list of developers, nor does it show any of the CVS commit messages. The project also doesn't show up under my profile page.
I'm pretty sure it's all set up right - could somebody check this out?
Yes, there have been already a few discussions about notifications from Drupal.org about updated contents. It is my intention to bring this topic up again. It should be discussed in combination of subscriptions and notifications (although notify only runs on a cron job, collects new nodes and comments, and mails them to each subscribed user in one message).
Dries responded in 2004 that above modules weren't tested enough yet, hence integration in a production site like Drupal.org is not suitable.
In the meantime there is a new module which is combining subscriptions with notifications called subscription module. It is compatible to 4.7 CVS. The module description does not clearly state if this module sends email notifications right after a content has been updated.
Is there anyone who has any of the above modules installed and smoothly working on production sites with heavy loads?
What is the Drupal.org infrastructure team thinking about notifications?
Quite by chance, I noticed that the download links for all the modules on drupal.org now have the path http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/drupal/files/projects/projectname-projectversion.tar.gz instead of the previous (current until a couple of hours ago) http://drupal.org/files/projects/projectname-projectversion.tar.gz
