I've updated my PHP version from 5.3.18 to 5.4.21 and since updating I've had to chgrp to apache for each site's files directories where before my standard user account for my server (CentOS 5.9) sufficed as both owner and group and had no file system errors/warnings. Has anyone experienced this and know if this is a setting somewhere? I'd like to change the group back to what it was, but doing so causes errors.
In my site I have a requirement for which I need to parse the values from the url (the values are random and rotating) and store it in the session variables of the site. In turn will store the session values in database when the user in that session submits a form. I have enabled caching for the site.
I am a drupal newbie. In my site I have a content type to manage sites specific data. I have a datefield data in that content type. Is there a way to set its default value as an absolute value (say 20th december 2011). The "Customize Default Value" allows only relative values. Thanks in advance.
For several years I’ve had a running (friendly argument) with a friend who swears by Drupal.
I always felt most of your time in Drupal is spent searching through files and troubleshooting, with little time focused on design.
Sure Drupal can offer more but if you have not designed every element of something how are you supposed to easily fix any problems.
To this day I still use Dreamweaver designing every element of the website.
I tried to update Drupal to 6.28 version but wasn't able to upload all the files. My webhoster found out that my internet connection speed was much slower than theirs and therefore the connection was repeatedly broken which prevented me to upload all the files. The webhoster said that the only way, is for him to upload the files for me and so he did. When I went on my website, I got the following message:
