I develops a new module for Drupal version 6.x. My module have some paths that I wan't to hook (for example: /prj/add, /prj/%/edit/, /prj/%/show/) with hook_menu() function. On a developing time I add/modify this paths very often.
But Drupal 6 store this path in database on module install time and changing paths in module sources after that don't update they!

In Drupal 5.x and 4.x there are menu type "MENU_DYNAMIC_ITEM" that do that I wan't but in Drupal 6 it isn't work!

Please tell me how I can solve my problem in Drupal 6?

I guess we are all for improved usability? I am for sure and anxiously await the next Drupal releases.
But recently, I have come to the conclusion that most systems and CMS seem to suffer from the lack of Quality Measurements and Ratings metrics.

Call it Quality Measurements or Quality Control... Project Metrics... Ratings metrics... they are related.
(A few years ago at HP, we used to call this TQC - Total Quality Control)

I know that some Drupal developers have started a project about gathering statistics about running Drupal sites. Good.
If Drupal could include these Quality Measurements as well as Ratings , that would be "accessible" to all the users or administrators, it would be a great improvement.

Here is a similar proposal that includes the stats gathering part AND full quality rating via volunteers.

The statistics would be gathered straight from systems that have accepted to be "Official Volunteer Testers" for the whole community plus allowing them the ability to enter notes, appreciation, points, bugs and support requests directly. We thus avoid the issue of privacy with volunteer testers.

Full page customization and controlling wish contents should apear in a page

I'm new to Drupal so I have a question for you... :-)

For example, say I want this layou for my site:

- homepage: six content areas and in each area you want to show the last contents of six sections of the site
- aboutus page: normal content page. Url: /about
- section 1: the news section homepage. list the last N news article. I want my url to be: '/news' and '/news/1' for a detail;
- section 2: the products homepage.
list the products in a custom manner (lets say like ecommerce).
Plus more content areas to put some contents (ie: Latest produts, High Rated Produtcts, etc)
Like other sections I want the url to be: '/products///'

- section n: ...

by now you should have understood what I'm talking about :-)

All this sections need to be in 2 or more languages. So all urls (ie: about page in '/about') should be shown in the language the user chooses.

What I think I know:
- Regions are content areas that are defined in the a template that I can add Blocks to;
- Blocks are the content (could be a node, list of nodes, user defined view, etc);
- Nodes are a single content (Page, Article, etc);

There is a question or idea.
I sometimes give passwords from my site and FTP to users under windows - and there they are very often stolen by troyan (well see on FTP logs - login from Brazil, China, France), there was a necessity in the module which would consider and compared MD5 sum of php files of site and "alert" would do in the case of change, it is possible to add functional to watch after some tables of base (so they can it was be defined in adjustings the module).
Or does can that the ready is?
