Drupal 6.x

hello,
I installed drupal6 on www.hungrycoders.com -- a non-technical blog of technical people.

I am looking for some module like:
1. the blogger will get alert when someone comments on any of his blogs
2. the guest/members (who comments) on a blog can subscribe so that he get alert when there is other comments

I did not found any suitable modules. Can anyone plz help me?

I am porting my latest page design into Drupal6. My issue lies with attempting to install a JQuery Based Javascript Menu into my drupal site. I have a testing version working in raw html, but I cannot get it to work in my drupal 'page.tpl.php'

Hi all,

When i use the "langauge swithcer" on my front page to shift to Danish, then it returns: "The page isn't redirecting properly". But only on the frontpage, on all other pages it shifts it proberly and the english is also fine....
I am using D6 and have recently updated the i18n and one other langauge module....
Does anyone here know what could be the problem?
I hope you can help me.....

Well, this is the first time I been really exploring drupal cms.
It seems to be kind of confusing to me.
All the modules and stuff,
I don't know :S
I been using xoops for around a week now and everything seems to be easier to manage.
What are some advantages of using drupal over xoops?
Is it worth switching to drupal and starting from scratch?

We need a newsletter module added to our website. We are not sure which newsletter module to install, and are open to your suggestions, but what we would like it so that a user can check a box on the account registration page for "Add me to the newsletter" and then the e-mail they use when creating their account is automatically added to the newsletter.
