Removing Create Content Settings

Ok, so Drupal is up and running and so far it seems great compared to all other CMS softwares. The thing is, i don't want users to be able to select things like:

Input format

Revision information

Comment settings

Authoring information

Publishing options

In other words, is there any way to select the settings i want for all content, and to use these settings for every content created, and remove those options from the "Create Page/Story" page.

Thanks in advance

I thing that open source Drupal's CMS will be better solution.

Programming Knoledge, Dealbreaker?

Hi,

I'm another one of the newbies. I am a web DESIGNER fluent in xHTML and CSS. However, I know absolutely NO PHP or MySQL. I'm interested in being able to create websites with some of the most common dynamic functionalities such as the following:

Is this possible?

I want to make a new content block but I don't know how to do it. I want it to show new content with the type page. Will I need an external module? Also if I wanted it to display in my mission how would I do that?

Sub menus?

I am wondering how to make a sub menu that looks something like

Menu
-- Menu Item
-- Menu Item
-- Menu Item

It seems to have disappeared in Drupal 6, as I'm sure it was in Drupal 5. Maybe it's moved?
