Installing Drupal

Hi friends

who can i delete uploaded files ??

I used View Bulk operation (VBO) to delete files on ' admin> content >file ' some images were deleted  and some of them remained !

then I went to the Cpanel I deleted those files manually, but still files names persisting on  Drupal administrator page.

How can I get rid of them?

I'm trying to install Drupal at very first time.

Drupal 8.6.9 on localhost in a Windows7 x64 desktop.

The MySQL 8.0.15 x64 + PHP 7.3.2 VC15 x64 + Apache 2.4.38 VC15 x64 are O.K.
They work well.

New Database is created for Drupal as well as a user with privileges for it.

Running Drupal interactive installer in Firefox 65.0.1 x64 as follows:

1. Select language: English    
2. Choose profile: Standard
3. Installer pass through the verification without any problem
4. Database name + username + password + localhost + port

I'm a complete Drupal newbie trying to install Drupal 8 for the first time on a new server with Ubuntu 18.04, Apache 2.4, MariaDB 10.1 and php 7.2. I downloaded the software using composer as indicated in section 3.5 of the online User Guide.  Next,in section 3.7, it says to go to the URL I set up for the site, where I should find an installation page. When I do this, I get an index of the directory with these files and directories in it:

How can I delete uploaded file via Drupal (not via Cpanel).

I wanna give to user permission that she be able to delete her owns files.

I searched a lot but I did not find any solution

Hi guys, I really could use some help/advice. I'm trying to install the latest build on a webserver from our hosting provider. Previous drupal version (7x) was running fine. I've cleaned the database and all the folders. Installation starts and after selecting the main language I'm able to select the installation profile standard, minimum etc. After making any installation profile selection and choosing save and continue I'm back at the language selector dialog and it keeps going like that.

I have no clue whats going wrong. Thanks for any kind of advice.

I am a first time Drupal user and am installing it (version 8) on a Windows 2016 Server using IIS. I have all the prerequisites installed and went through the Drupal installer. I entered the database info, chose 'minimal' installation, configured the site (the last step of the installer), and when it finished it gave the error, "500 internal server error".

I then reloaded the url it finished on (http://mydomain/user/1) and it loads without the 500 error.
