Installing Drupal

Dear forum Members,

I'm newbie in drupal open source cms and since cauple of months i'm busy to transform my current website in drupal CMS System.

Yesterday i wanted to export the SQL database from my current localmchine to another local machine.

i was almost 99% succeed but now i have some missing tabels in it and i want to know how to fix the missing tabels.

Hi i have never used anything like this but want to create a webpage for a new company i have started, skincare, nail care and beauty products.

i have went to download drupal but i dont know where to download it in, what program should i use to download it.

im completely new to this and dont know whether i need to download anything before i download drupal.

basically i need full help with downloading, im not the smartest at computers but have a strong passion to learn and be able to build my own websites for my companies.

I am attempting to migrate a site from Drupal 6 on one host to Drupal 7 on a different host. On both hosts I had a multi-site setup.
On this new the site is working correctly with non-clean URLs but I can't get clean URLs to work. I've tried to change the Base_URL in settings.php to no avail. To complicate things I have not changed the name servers for this site so I am using the ip address of the host and the default directory. Everything is working correctly EXCEPT clean URLs.

Is it possible to make it work? I want to create a portal on D7 on linux server with apache web server. The database is running on MSSQL server. I found a module sqlsrv, however the php driver seems to work only on IIS web server.

Has anybody succeded to install it on linux? Anybody tried this composition: D7+Linux+Apache+PHP+MSSQL DB?

I know that it's possible tring: D7+Windows+IIS+MSSQL using sqlsrv module.

hello everybody,

I am a new user of drupal and I have a problem while install.

I have started installation with commande line interface for apache2, PHP5 and Mysql after that, I started server on my browser, I choosed profile and language but after I had this error's message .
I think every extensions are been installed but I seemed not in fact?

Someone have an idea?

I am struggling to find out how to make the PECL Uploadprogress library work under D7.14

I have the Libraries API 7.x-1.0 module installed and working, and I believe I have followed the instructions on http://drupal.org/node/1440066.

I have downloaded the latest package from http://pecl.php.net/package/uploadprogress, unpacked it and uploaded it to sites/all/libraries.
