Installing Drupal

I use image styles to scale images and add a watermark.
It works fine (ex. slideshow) until I need them in CKEditor.
So I can no longer figure out whether or how the images can be used.
Is there any tutorials (prefer text) which deals with the use of image styled photo in CKEditor?

New drupal'er here. Just getting started with the framework.

What I'm trying to accomplish, is to set up a page with a view (already done) of content. Then I would like to have in the left margin ways to filter the view in the content pane. I would like to have multiple filters like filter by category or filter by topic (or I may think of other filter types).

I have a front page with three blocks:
A login and two slideshow (views).
In the main menu, I link to my blog.
When I open the link, the blog shown absolutely correct, except that it does not overwrite content in the footer and triptych regions (login form is located in the footer region and one slides show in the triptych region).
Content in these regions seen through the blog page.
How to solve this problem?

I have multiple computers at home. their ip are
.110 (drupal server)
.112
.113

I have 2 drupal sites hold on the server,
localhost (default one)
newsite (sub-site)

I can see default druapl site from other computers by typing 192.168.1.110 in url bar; but how do I see 'newsite' from other local PCs?

I have began to work on an existing drupal site and have ran into problems trying to launch it locally using MAMP. I have found support for doing a new Drupal install but I can't get the current state of the drupal site set up locally. Does anyone know a particular way of setting up an existing Drupal 7 site locally?
