I installed drupal-7.22.zip on XAMPP (xampp-win32-1.8.1-VC9-installer.exe) on Windows 7 32-bit and it works fine.
I've installed two distributions, Commerce Kickstart (commerce_kickstart-7.x-2.6-core.zip) and Open Publish (openpublish-7.x-1.0-beta7-core.zip), and for both setup fails at the MySQL step with an error like "Failed to connect to your database server. The server reports the following message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'drupal'@'localhost' (using password: YES)."
I'm trying to do a fresh install of the latest Drupal 6 to restore a database then upgrade to Drupal 7. I can't get past the database setup because where normally under advanced options it would allow me to put in the database location, it simply says 'advanced options,' with nothing below it. This doesn't appear when I do a fresh install of Drupal 7, but I haven't been able to find a way to import a Drupal 6 database to a Drupal 7 site.
Hello people!
I'm tyring few days to created one kind of rule but without success. Please, push me to the write way, or if you have already something like that - Please export it.
I need to send e-mail and message via privatemsg to the author of the node (which is the product display) after the payment has been fully done and product sold.
I can't create this kind of rule. I created a component for this purpose, but I'm stock here. Please, maybe you have already recorded screencast, but not published. Publish it. I will so much appreciate it.
The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.
Error message
PDOException: SQLSTATE[42000] [1049] Unknown database ' 575901_em4live' in lock_may_be_available() (line 167 of D:\wamp\www\sitename\includes\lock.inc).
I will soon be buying cPanel hosting and it will come with Softaculous. Just wanted to know if its safe to install Drupal using Softaculous ?
I know Fantastico installs outdated versions, but I have heard good things about Softaculous.
Installing manually is also possible, but I might need to make 3-4 installations for other clients and hence this would be a luxury if its possible.
Hello. I have been searching for the most complete link/guide to install Drupal and it's requirements on a clean windows 2003 server. I am assuming I should go Apache but I am not sure. Can anyone provide the best link for a newbie to do this? I tried already once on my own and have resulted in reformatting my server (super noob here).
