Installing Drupal

Hi,

Just tried to import database.mysql (stable 4.0)m but it failed cause the reserved word "types" is used for some columns.

Is there a fix available for it?

I know that Drupal has support for multi-lingual sites; and I have seen sites transalted to several languages. However, all those translations seem to be site-made; i.e, I have not found any file which I can download and add support for a new languaje to my site.

Does that mean that every foreign site is currently doing their own translation of Drupal (and not sharing it)? IMHO, this does not seem very optimized. Is there anybody interested in sharing those translations? I think they should even be included in the official distribution.

ok, I checked out the .mysql.inc file and didn't see anything of interest. Check out my conf.inc file and everything seems ok..

What else should I look at and is there a permisison problem somewhere?

i have installed drupel and everything works fin untill i try to create a new user..
when i click on the "create new account" i just come back to the start page index.php...
can somebody please tell me what im doin wrong?

Hello:

I was playing around with drupal 4.1.0-rc and drupal cvs, and I had an error when editing user account. When pressing 'save user information', the screen goes blank.
The same thing happens when submitting a story, and pressing 'Preview'
The changes in the user information are not saved.

Last thing: when accessing http://www.drupal.org/drupal , the following error:

I stumbled on this by accident. I'm running 4.1RC and have the Weblink module installed.

When creating a new weblink (or editing one after the fact) the "Link" input field is limited to 64 characters. Thus, there is no way to enter links with greater than 64 characters
